Built in Durban, Grown Beyond Borders

JONDAY Foods began in Durban in 1985, shaped by family recipes, hands-on craftsmanship and a belief that familiar food should never feel ordinary. Our handmade samoosas became the foundation of the business, earning their place with customers through their distinctive pastry, generous fillings and dependable quality.Since then, JONDAY has continued developing beyond its original Samoosa range, developing a diverse portfolio of frozen products reaching customers across Southern Africa, North America, and Europe. Although our products and markets continue to evolve, we remain rooted in the traditions, care, and practical thinking that built the business.

Quality Control

While our systems and methods have evolved, our commitment to quality and food safety has remained with our FSSC 22000-certified food safety system.

Family Heritage

JONDAY remains a family business, and our sense of family extends beyond ownership. Some team members have been with JONDAY for more than 30 years, and That continuity carries decades of knowledge, care, and pride.
